Is Europe voting YES for the Online Gambling Industry?

For the last couple of months more and more countries in the EU are starting to regulate online Gambling. Europe is voting yes for the online gambling industry. Only last week Poland decided to regulate online Gambling, the government announced that it will happen at the end of 2008.

The deputy Finance Minister Jack Kapica said that they can't control it, anyway and regulate it so its better to earn some revenue and to increase the government budget. He figured out that to regulate Gambling will cost a lot of money - If you can't beat them-join them!.

Some important analysts (and I agree) estimate that the gross online Gambling revenues could reach as much as $50 billion (!) in a few years.

Poland is not alone- last week Denmark announced that online poker tournaments are legal. It is pointing to several issues that show that Denmark has decided to loosen the ban on online gambling. Denmark's Minister for Taxation, Kristian Jensen, said that the country is looking into reforms for the online casino industry. Denmark and Poland are not alone-Germany and Holland, have also shown signs of loosening regulations and new thinking how to increase government revenue.

The news is highly important. There are hundreds of thousands of online players in the Scandinavian region and millions across Europe who enjoy the variety of online casino games.. So if you are an online casino fan and you live in Europe, you can start playing today.
