If you are searching for roulette strategies versus roulette strategies that work are very different things. Since roulette is much like playing a slot machine (when it comes to chance), to say that you can use roulette strategies to win is a fallacy and nothing more.
Roulette strategies and tips cannot assure a win, but they can certainly help your odds when you play online roulette or play at a land-based casino. So if you want to call those roulette strategies that work, be our guest! These roulette strategies are basic but we suggest following them:
The number one roulette strategie is where you make your bets. If you place bets in the inside betting area instead of the outside betting area, you are playing much riskier, and not as smart, a game. The odds in the inside betting area are so high because the likelihood it will land on the particular bet you make is very low.

As you can see, there are many more options with regards to betting in the outside betting area, but the odds are much lower, too. One of the best roulette strategies is to make bigger bets on bets with lower odds. Although we recommend only making outside bets, if you really insist on making an inside bet, at least bet on the bets with lower odds, like the 6-line bet, corner bet, street bet, and trio bet (although the 5-number bet has 6 to 1 odds, it is one of the worst bets to make because it raises the house advantage to 7.9%!).
Some roulette strategies do not actually seem like they are roulette strategies to win, but they are. We find that if the odds are lower (as was explained above), or if the House Advantage is as low as it can be, then playing to win land-based or online roulette is more possible. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you should play European Roulette rather than American Roulette. The House Advantage is 5.3% in US Roulette versus the 2.7% in EU Roulette, because American Roulette has 0 and 00.
These few roulette strategies may not be flashy or fancy sounding, but we assure you that they will better your chances to actually win at roulette. So be sure to follow these roulette strategies and tips, ALWAYS play within your bankroll, have fun, and get playing now!
